School Meals

School Meal Prices

No charge for children in Elvet Class and Dunelm Class (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2).
School meals cost £3.08 for children in Years 3-5.
School meals cost £3.70 for children attending our Nursery. The difference in price is due to the Government applying VAT to nursery meals.

Free School Meals and Pupil Premium

Please be aware that, even though all Reception & Key Stage 1 pupils now receive a school dinner free of charge, the school is eligible to receive a pupil premium for any child who would have been eligible for targeted free school meals under the same criteria applied to older pupils.

Is your child eligible for free school meals? If so, this also means that our school may also be eligible to receive a pupil premium. Please visit the Durham County Council free school meals webpage for information about eligibility for free school meals and to download an application form (click here). Alternatively please speak to the school office about this.

Alternative Diets Information

Our caterer, Chartwells, provide information about medical diets on their website. There is a form to be completed to request a special diet for your child. The completed form and medical evidence should be returned to the school office.
